Jean Monnet Module „Agricultural Regulations of European Union“

Jean Monnet Module „Agricultural Regulations of European Union“, led by professor Katarina Đurić, is accredited as an elective course in the final year of undergraduate studies of all study programs at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad.

The main goal of this module is to present guidelines through regulations and functioning of the European Union for students of all study programs at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad, and to deliver basic facts about the system of agriculture in the EU, the Common Agricultural Policy and rural development policy. Module „Agricultural Regulations of European Union“ has all students of the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad as a basic target group, especially students in the final year of study who do not have enough knowledge regarding the topic of EU agriculture.

Bearing in mind that the Republic of Serbia is a candidate country for the EU accession, and considering the knowledge of future professionals and future decision makers in the agricultural sector in Serbia, it is of utmost importance to enrich their curricula with a module directly linked to those issues.
